This project was completed in 5 months and still changing, however, the project was a great learning experience in task management, meeting expectations for both client and developers, and content-management-system development.
Main goal:
Refresh look and feel of the company website to current design trends that is suitable for their market audience, age 50+ travelers. Created for SquareMouth.com and was accomplished alongside a group with project managers, developers, and lead by both the CEO and CIO of the company.
My role:
Worked with full-stack developers and provided mockup images for templates to be implemented on company servers for data driven pages. Once they developed the HTML/CSS/JS for the main components and templates, I updated the Wordpress themes and templates. Once the core site became live, I updated Help Center templates via Zendesk. Also provided quality assurance testing by ensuring the look and feel was as expected in various browsers (down to IE9) for most popular screen sizes (down to 767px) and mobile devices.
Design tools used:
Adobe Photoshop (mockups), Adobe Illustrator (icons), InvisionApp (prototyping).
Developed in Wordpress, using the Visual Composer theme (now known as WPBakery Page Builder). Developed the page with further customization, via HTML/CSS/JS.
